Mindfulness for the Classroom
Mindfulness for educators is a secular approach to improving concentration and awareness in the classroom. We will practice and discover methods to focus your attention on the present, and dismiss any distractions that come your way and our students way. Participants will leave with materials they can use immediately within their classrooms or small group settings. Breath work will be emphasized.
This overview workshop is taught by Andrea Guerrero, Phd, EdS, who has been a public educator for 20 years, serves as a current Middle School Teacher, and is certified Yoga instructor. Follow up workshops will be provided this summer.
