Q&A and COVID 19 POLICIES
1. What are the COVID-19 Cleaning Procedures?
At Yokore Yoga & Wellness we take COVID-19 and sanitation seriously. Cleaning occurs after each class. Please be respectful of the instructor who is cleaning by promptly exiting your space. You will have the option and be provided with their own cleaning supplies at your designated space. Please dispose of your trash as you exit the building. For deep sanitation work Clean Impact provides the evening sanitation spray.
2. What are the COVID- 19 Policies?
Yokore Yoga & Wellness requires that participants pre-register for in-studio classes and answer a COVID-19 screening online. Please come to the studio with your face mask. Click this COVID-19 Policy link for more information.
3. What does Yokore mean?
Yokore is a blend of traditional yoga and fitness. "Yo" represents the yoga, "to yoke" "to unite" and "kore" translates meaning "this". At Yokore IN THIS PRACTICE, WE UNITE. We have both new Western infused shred classes, fusion fitness classes, along with more traditional yoga classes offered. For more information about Yokore click here.
4. What is the difference between the Global and Community Studio?
The Virtual Studio is 100 % virtual. Classes are limited and 45 minutes in length. The Virtual Studio hosts both international and national participants.
The Community Studio has a physical location, live stream virtual studio, and hosts live events. The local studio's are focused on their local community needs. The physical locations provide private and small class boutique professional yoga instruction.
5. What do I wear to class?
Loose fitting comfortable clothes that you can move in. Yoga is most often done barefoot to help prevent with slipping.
6. Do I need my own mat? Props?
Due to COVID-19 we currently cannot permit the use of our props. We recommend you bring a yoga mat or yoga rug to practice on. We do have some yoga mats for sale in the boutique. Prices range from $10.00 to $100.00
7. What is the registration policy?
Due to COVID-19 you do need to pre-register 24 hours in advance for any in-studio class to secure your spot. Given the private nature of our studio, signing up means you are personally reserving a yoga instructor. Please do not sign up for a class and not show, there are fees involved. Please note, this is aimed to be a preventative measure rather than a penalty. Demand for our classes are very high, no-shows and no-cancels limit others from participating in classes and is disruptive to our Community Studio.
8. WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
Cancellations must be made 4 hours before your class during Phase-4 of COVID. If you do not cancel prior to your class you will be charged the LATE CANCELLATION FEE of $5.00 or if you FAIL to cancel or contact the studio prior to your class you will charged a NO SHOW fee of $10.00
9. WHAT IS LIVE STREAM VERSUS IN-STUDIO VERSUS ON DEMAND?
Live Stream- You are participating real-time with a class via an electronic device. There may be participants in the class both in-studio and virtually. These classes are with an instructor who interacts with you in real time.
In Studio- You are participating at a physical location for a specific class.
On Demand- You are participating with a pre-recorded class via an electronic device at your own convenience.
10. WHAT IS THE COST FOR A CLASS?
Our studio charges the base fee of $10.00 per class. When you pay at the studio for individual group classes with cash or check the fee is $10.00.
All electronic transactions are $10.00 plus additional processing fees ($1.00 for electronic processing services and 35% per transaction for Apple Fees). Until these 3rd party companies drop these electronic processing fees Yokore cannot waive or remove them.
